Welcome To Liverpool FC Alexis Mac Allister!
Hey Reds! There has been a lot of activity in the summer transfer window despite it only being open for a short period. Although we've had to say goodbye to some fan favorites with Bobby and Milner leaving the Reds, Liverpool just announced the signing of Alexis Mac Allister.
"It feels amazing. It’s a dream come true, it’s amazing to be here and I can’t wait to get started. Since I won the World Cup, I said that I want to win more trophies and I think that this club will help me to do that."

“I’m really happy his next steps will now be with us and we get to work with a player who is already excellent and experienced, but also has so much more to come given he is just 24 years old."
The twenty-four-year-old was signed from Brighton & Hove Albion. The Reds paid a reported fee of around $43 million to sign Mac Allister to a five-year contract. Based on the current market and player prices, this fee seems like an absolute steal! Let's take a look at what to expect from this exciting South American midfielder.
Alexis Mac Allister grabbed the attention of football fans worldwide this past season with incredible and consistent performances in the Premier League, and more notably, the 2022 World Cup. The creative midfielder was an indispensable figure as Argentina became World Cup champions after a 36-year drought. The midfield maestro was also instrumental in guiding Brighton to their highest-ever top-flight league position of 6th. It's safe to say, Mac Allister is coming to Anfield in the form of his life, which is why he is such an exciting signing. This should also help freshen up our midfield for the upcoming campaign.
For all you Reds wanting to add Mac Allister's jersey to your collection, he will wear the iconic number 10 on his back. The new signing takes over the jersey number previously worn by club legends like John Barnes, Philippe Coutinho, and Sadio Mane. Let's hope Mac Allister follows in these LFC legends' footsteps!
