The Anfield Experience - NYC

Hey Reds! If you follow our social media accounts, which you should 😉, then you would have seen that we set up a shop in New York City a couple of weeks ago. Liverpool FC organized a special event to which we were invited. It was a great experience, where we were lucky enough to meet a lot of our wonderful customers in the NY area.

The majority of Reds based in North America are unable to attend their favorite club's games. The Anfield Experience was organized to showcase what it is like to attend the iconic Anfield stadium. LFC pulled out all the stops for Reds fans located in the NY region. The Champions League trophy, which gets its own suitcase by the way! A 360 video experience! A life-long LFC steward and tour guide flew in from Liverpool! Club legend Sami Hyypiä was the special guest at the VIP event, he was also there to make sure everybody looked 3 feet tall when they were next to him, as you can see in the photo of us with him below! And of course, The Anfield Shop!

Like always, the Reds fans showed up in numbers for this unique experience. The time slots were hourly for both Saturday and Sunday throughout the morning, afternoon, and night. The local Reds fans made sure there was a great turnout for each time slot.

It was a fantastic event, one that we were proud to be a part of! Hopefully, events like these start to become more common in North America, especially as the fan base continues to grow! 🔴
