Liverpool's Premier League Fixture List

by Matthew Taylor

Hey Reds! It seems like an eternity since we last saw the Reds play, but in reality, it was only a few weeks ago. There's nothing like watching Klopp's men playing beautiful football every week! Well, to get you excited about that coming back, the Premier League fixture list was just released.

Don't worry, I'm not going to talk about all 38 fixtures, we'd be here all day! I'll run you through the opening games, the final games, and the games all Reds fans will look forward to during the upcoming season. The Reds played in every possible game in the previous season, so I think it's likely that we'll be in for another exciting season of silverware chasing!

LFC open their Premier League title chase on August sixth with an away game against the newly-promoted Fulham. Reds fans don't have to wait long to enjoy one of the biggest games of the season, as LFC travels to Old Trafford to face United on the twentieth of August. Another five-zero..?

Another big game at the start of the season, sees the Reds travel to face the Blues at Goodison Park on September third. We all love a derby day, well maybe not Blues fans! In October, Liverpool host Man City on the fifteenth. I know it will still be early in the season, but this game could very well have a big say in LFC's title charge.

Obviously, it's an unusual season this year with the World Cup starting in the winter. This means there's a gap from the thirteenth of November to the twenty-sixth of December where there will be no Reds games.

On February eleventh, Everton visits Anfield for the second derby of the season. There's another big home game on the fourth of March when United come to town. On April first, the Reds go to the Etihad to face City in another huge clash between the two favorites for the league title.

The last game of the Premier League season is on Saturday the twenty-eighth of May. Unfortunately, it's an away game for the Reds, who travel to face Southampton. Let's hope it's a day of celebration for everyone involved with Liverpool!
