Liverpool's 2023/24 Premier League Fixture List
Hey Reds! Although it has only been a few weeks since Liverpool last played, it already feels like forever. Unfortunately, we still have to wait another 58 days until the Premier League season begins. But, to get you excited about the return of the Premier League, the official fixture list was just released. Let's take a look at the Reds' upcoming league schedule.
Obviously, I'm not going to dive into each of the 38 games or else we'd be here all day. So I'll take you through the opening games, the final games, and all the tasty games us fans will look forward to.
It's a big one to start the Premier League campaign for the Reds as they travel to Chelsea on the opening day. The first game at Anfield comes the following Saturday when Bournemouth visit. This should be the first game with the newly renovated Anfield Road Stand! Another massive away clash comes the following Saturday when Klopp's men make the trip up to St James' Park to face Newcastle.
The first derby day comes on October 21st when the Reds 'welcome' the Blues to Anfield. We all love a Merseyside derby, well maybe not Blues fans! Another tasty fixture comes on November 25th with Liverpool facing Man City at the Etihad.
December is jam-packed with Premier League fixtures, including a lot of spicy ones. Games against Man United, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Chelsea all come during the holiday period. What a gift for us fans!
The reverse fixtures against Man City and Everton come back-to-back in March on the 9th and 16th respectively. The start of April will see Liverpool host Man United at Anfield. What do you say Reds? Let's go for 8 this time around!
Liverpool's Premier League run-in will see home games against Crystal Palace and Spurs, and away games against Fulham, West Ham, and Aston Villa. The Reds will host Wolves for the final game of the 2023/24 Premier League Campaign on Sunday the 19th of May. Fingers crossed there will be another Premier League trophy up for grabs on that last Sunday!
