Europa League Preview: LASK v Liverpool

by Matthew Taylor

Hey Reds! It's the return of European football. Liverpool begins their Europa League campaign with an away trip against LASK. Klopp's men have an early kick-off, 12:45 pm EST, in Austria on Thursday to kick things off. We're hoping the lads can replicate their Premier League form in Europe!

LASK is an Austrian team located in Linz. Located 1,031 miles from Anfield is LASK's home stadium. The Raiffeisen Arena is a brand-new stadium that was officially opened earlier this year. LASK finished third in the 22/23 Austrian Football Bundesliga season, behind Red Bull Salzburg and SK Sturm Graz. Potential dangerous players to watch out for LASK are Robert Zulj and Moussa Koné. This will be the first-ever competitive game against LASK.

"we’re going to give it everything that we have - and we want to give it everything we have. We want to try to win it, but it doesn’t happen overnight so we have to work for it and that starts tomorrow."

Virgil Van Dijk

The lads will be rocking the brand-new third kit for the first time this season! It's perfect timing as we have just got some of these beautiful jerseys at the shop! This striking purple design with black trim is now available, but be quick because there are not many up for grabs.

C'mon, you Reds!
