Cyber Monday is here and we’re ready!

Hi everyone,

Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I was able to spend time with friends and family, and had a great time!  Now, bring on the holidays!

The winner of our contest last month was Bret.  Congratulations!   Bret correctly answered the question “In which year did LFC win the League Title for the first time?”  The correct answer was the 1900-01 season.  For his correct answer, Bret wins a signed Jamie Carragher match program. We’ll have another contest soon – thanks to everyone for playing!!!  LFC fans are the best!!!  By the way, did you see who the latest LFC fan is?  None other than Brad Pitt!  You can read about it here:

A special occasion for Liverpool FC and Jamie Carragher

On the 9th of May 2011, Liverpool FC enjoyed an emphatic victory by 5 goals to 2 against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

It was an extra special occasion for Captain Jamie Carragher who made his 666th appearance for the club, surpassing Emlyn Hughes and Ray Clemence into sole second place in the all-time appearance list for Liverpool FC.

It’s Turkey Trot Trivia Time!

Hi everyone,

Well, hard to believe that Thanksgiving is about two weeks away.  To celebrate this season of giving, the Anfield Shop is sponsoring a trivia contest!  The winner receives a signed Jamie Carragher program from last year’s Manchester United match.  You can answer by responding to the “comments” section of this blog.  I’ll randomly pick one winner with the correct answer on Thanksgiving Day.  I’ll post the answer and the name of the winner in the next blog.  Here’s the question:

“In which year did LFC win the League Title for the first time?”

Good luck to everyone and get your answers in before November 24, 2011!

Also, the Anfield Shop is offering their own special deal, by giving $20 off every $100 of merchandise ordered from now until January 1st, 2012.   This is a great time to pick up those items that caught your eye for yourself or for that special someone.  The shop also has a lot of sale items available.  Don’t miss out!  Quantities are limited, and for some items, once they’re gone – they’re gone!  Here’s the link for the shop to get you started:

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Brrrrr….it’s cold outside!

It’s hard to believe that October is over and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  Good match for the LFC last week ~ that’s what I like to see!  I hope all of you are keeping up with the team and cheering them on…I know I love getting up on those early mornings when I know a match is on the TV.   What I don’t like is being cold, but I’ve solved that problem!

Now that the temps outside (and inside) are getting colder, with some areas already getting snow, what could be better at keeping you warm than a LFC blanket?  Imagine yourself wrapped up while watching those early morning footy matches ~ this 125cm X 150 cm blanket is just the right size to keep you warm and cozy.  The blanket is an official licensed product of the LFC and is available now from the Anfield Shop!  It is imported directly from Liverpool ~ you won’t find it in any stores in the US!  Show your support of the LFC with an official wool fleece blanket!  It also makes the perfect gift for a LFC fan.  Order yours today!

The Anfield Shop is getting new items weekly, so be sure to check out the shop for the latest and greatest LFC items.  Whether you want a hat, some slippers or a blanket, the shop has something for everyone.  Don’t forget that the holidays are right around the corner!  Also, be sure to keep up with the Anfield Shop on Facebook and twitter for specials and contests…I’ll be having a special Turkey trot trivia contest in the next couple of weeks ~ you won’t want to miss that!

Until next time,
